Judah', a collection of ballads by the non-Jewish poet Börries von Münchhausen 1874 - 1945. Illustrated by Ephraim Moses Lilien (1874–1925), art nouveau illustrator and printmaker, noted for his art on Jewish themes. He is sometimes called the "first Zionist artist. Münchhausen's relationship to Judaism remained ambivalent: Munchhausen did not consider the "Jewish race" inferior, but merely wanted to prevent a "mixture" with the non-Jewish Germans.
