The building was built on behalf of the Prussian Construction and Finance Directorate and occupies an entire block on Spilstraße, Lentzeallee, Gegor Mendel Strasse & Milowstrasse. The apartments face the street & a central courtyard contains gardens and a children’s playground. The building facades use pastel tones of red & yellow and the arched entrances are topped with fauna & flora motifs The condominium is an an example of expressive realism using a blend of traditional stylistic features and Expressionist form.
