At 1235m Mt Bruce (known as Punurrunha to the Banyjima), in the Hamersley Range of Karijini National Park, is Western Australia's 2nd tallest mountain. Karijini NP is in the Pilbara region of Western Australia just above the Tropic of Capricorn. The high plateau is dissected by incredible gorges (slot canyons). Karijini is the Banyjima name for the Hammersley Range.
