London Southend Airport, Southend on Sea, Essex, UK. 29th Mar, 2023. An easyJet flight from Malaga, Spain, is the first scheduled passenger service to use the airport since October 2022 as the Essex airport struggles to resume regular services following the COVID pandemic. Operator Esken are currently looking for a buyer for the beleaguered airport. easyJet will be adding services to Faro, Palma de Mallorca and Amsterdam to its summer schedules.
