Chidren of staff and from the Archbishop Sumner School in Kennington ar the first to view the painting post acquisition - The Director of The National Gallery, Dr Gabriele Finaldi announces that the Finding of Moses, 1630's, by Orazio Gentileschi has been saved for the gallery. The full cost was £22m of which the net cost to the gallery was £19.5m partly funded by £2m from members of the public, £2.5m from the National heritage Memoriual Fund and £1m fro Art Fund.
