The British Museum will reopen it’s doors to the public in line with government guidelines and with new safety measures in place. Following five months of closure due to the coronavirus pandemic, the British Museum will be re-opening it’s doors to the public on the 27th August 2020. A new one-way route round the ground floor galleries will allow visitors access to over 9000 objects. More galleries will reopen later in September. (photo by Sam Mellish / Alamy Live News)
