Manchester, UK. 16th October, 2018. Marking the centenary of the end of the First World War, a statue of seven blinded soldiers has been unveiled outside the main entrance of Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station. Entitled, 'Victory Over Blindness' it was commissioned by the military charity Blind Veterans UK. The original sculpture was conceived and designed by artist and sculptor Johanna Domke-Guyot.
