Manchester, UK 27th December, 2013. Ann Summers selling cheap bras and knickers as Bargain-hunters got an early start as they flocked into Manchester city centre for the start of the sales. The shopping centre reported the average spend per customer is the highest the year has seen so far. Early indications have shown a promising start to the post-Christmas sales. The Arndale is a branded shopping centre and a lot of retailers are on sale all the time, out to sell at the best prices, so people can get the ‘ Manchester look’ for less.
