Baby turkeys are hatched in large incubators at savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh. They will never see their mothers. They huddle around a heat lamp for warmth. After only a few weeks, turkeys are moved to large, windowless sheds. Turkey-warehouse, they’ll all spend the rest of their lives there. Turkeys are bred, drugged, and genetically manipulated to grow as large as possible as quickly as possible. The positive news is, at present, turkey chicken is becoming the alternative source of protein in our country.
