Newquay, Cornwall, UK. 23 August, 2018. Unknown Cornish Vigilantes trap a Camper Van with Concrete blocks at Pentire Head Newquay beauty spot. The Vigilantes claim they are tired of long stay wild campers on a section of the unadopted road and have taken direct action by sealing a section of the road against access with concrete blocks. Lack of official action over the years prompted the action. Both Police and Cornwall Council say their hands are tied on any action in response as this is private ground. Local opinion is divided.
