Dan Leno, real name George Wild Galvin ( 1860 – 1904) was a famous music hall & theatre performer as was Herbert Campbell ( 1844 – 1904), born Herbert Edward Story, appeared in music hall, Victorian burlesques and musical comedies during the Victorian era. He often played pantomime dames and female characters.
