Postcard dated to circa 1917 form similar style of Agnes' work researched online. Publisher C.W. Faulkner & Co., London E.C. Agnes Richardson (1885 - 1951).Agnes Richardson, born Wimbledon, 1885, studied at Lambeth School of Art. Agnes illustrated books for children, annuals and designed greetings cards and at least three posters for London Transport from 1912.. During World War Two she produced a set of comic military cards. Books illustrated include: E. Vredenburg, Golden Locks and Pretty Frocks (1914); L. Carroll, Alice in Wonderland (1920); C. Perrault, Fairy Tales from the French (1920); A.G. Herbertson, The Cosy Corner Book (1923). Books written and illustrated include: The Dainty Series [four volumes], (1924); Chubby Chums (1932); The Agnes Richardson Book (1936).
