The Passo Vezzena is a 1417 m slm high mountain pass on the Lavarone plateau in the province of Trento . The Vezzena Pass is already shown on maps from the late Middle Ages. [1] During the Mountain War of 1915–1918 , the pass was located in the immediate vicinity of the front between the Verle plant to the north of the pass and the Col Basson, which was expanded to the south, until the Austro-Hungarian South Tyrol offensive in May 1916 .
