Brick pillared barn, Colomendy Farm, Flintshire, Wales. One of a number of C18th/C19th farm buildings to the west of the Hall. This unusual open sided barn barn features tall brick pillars standing on U-shaped stone bases. Since 1940 the park and house were used as a site for children’s evacuation camps, residential & visiting schools outdoor facilities, farm, and Environmental Studies Centre. In 2019 Colomendy Park is now part of the Kingswood outdoor activity centres.
