Award of the Reina Prinsen Geerligsprijs to Frans Kusters. A. Prinsen Geerligs (left), Reina's brother, awarded the prize to the author in the auditorium of the University of Amsterdam. The Reina Prinsen Geerligsprijs was an annual literary prize, set in 1946 by the parents of the writer Reina Prinsen Geerligs who died in the Second World War (1922-1943), to keep the memory of her alive. The prize was awarded to writers aged 20-25 years. The last ceremony was in 1979. 24 November 1973;
