The protesters criticized Japan and its navy planning to display Japanese Rising Sun Flag, which protesters think as a symbol of wartime aggression, during the International Fleet Review to be held off the island of Jeju, South Korea from October 10-14. South Korean navy said on Sunday it remains in opposition to a Japanese warship carrying the controversial imperialistic flag to the naval event and South Korea earlier informed participating countries that they should raise their national flag and the flag of the host country, local media reported.
