Riders dressed in medieval armour leave the battlefield after a re-enactment of a medieval battle during the commemoration of the 599th anniversary of the Battle of Grunwald in Northern Poland. Battle of Grunwald was one of the most important battles in the history of Medieval Europe. It took place on July 15, 1410. That day the alliance of the Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania smashed the Teutonic Knights in the battle.
