Some of the cave paintings of the peninsula (Baja California) were made very early in history, when the man who inhabited this region of the world did not yet know of writing, and on the other hand their languages were just in the process of construction, that is, creating the words that would designate things. Thanks to different research works, some scholars refer the human presence in La Pintada to an antiquity of just over 10, 000 years.
