River Wye, Hereford, Herefordshire, UK – Friday 15th July 2022 – UK Weather - Algae bloom along the shore of the River Wye as it passes through Hereford city. Todays river level reading is again under 10cm at The Old Wye bridge in Hereford. The Environment Agency has warned that the water temperature in the Wye exceeds 20c and this will have a major impact on fish and the growth of algae blooms in the river.
