Selingue, Mali, 28th April 2015; Madame Sogoba, agricultural technician, advising farmer Alou Doumbia. He explains that his crop is not very advanced because he did not add any fertilizer as he could not afford it. He was advised to add Uree fertilizer as soon as possible to save the crop. Staff and interns in the Agricultural Advice Service of the ODRS (Office de Development Rural de Selingue) are making an evaluation of the state the farms. The interns will follow up on suggestions to see how effective improvements have been.
