The stone-clad neo-classical Severance Hall with its distinct Renaissance portico and Henry Hering art deco portico has been a part of the Cleveland landscape since 1931 when the building was completed and became the home of the famous Cleveland Orchestra. Severance Hall is still the home performance hall for the Cleveland Orchestra housing a concert hall and a chamber-music hall.
