An Atlantic Puffin (Fratercula arctica) returns from a successful fishing expedition with a beakful of sand eels. This was taken over Inner Farne (one of the Farne Islands which are found a couple of miles off the UK's Northumbrian Coast) where the Puffins are fairly bold when it comes to humans. Sandeels form the mainstay of the Puffin's diet and this is a common site on the Farnes. Horizontal format with copy space.
