Apr.17, 2010 - Dallas, Texas, USA - An all-too-brief, two-week leave comes to an end for Army Staff Sergeant THERON SCOTT and his bride of less than one year, AMIE SCOTT, of Southern Pines, North Carolina. Mrs. Scott joined her husband for two weeks of r&r in Texas and Nevada, but now their time together is over, and, as the departure time for her flight back to North Carolina nears, they say their goodbyes at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. SSG Scott, a forward observer with the Army 82nd Airbone Division, was scheduled to fly out at midnight to complete his second tour of duty in Afghanistan, where he is a forward observer, calling in artillery strikes. They are already counting the days until his next scheduled leave.
