Common Sandpiper (Actitis hypoleucos) Foraging for food in the mud and shallows. Has a habit of bobbing up and down, and has rapid stiff-winged flight low over the water. Summer visitor to upland rivers, lakes, and other bodies of water in the UK. Seen Mostly on it's own.
