Commuters wait after the train service is affected by a power failure at New Street Station, Birmingham. A Network Rail spokesman said: We ve lost our power. I think it's the overhead lines that are feeding the railways. * All routes to and from the station which includes services run by Central Trains, Virgin Trains, Wales and Borders and Silverlink Trains were affected. More than 100,000 people use the station every day making it one of the busiest rail interchanges in the country. The incident will cause disruption to scores of commuters planning to travel ahead of the weekend.
