The Pass of the Cattle (Bealach na Ba) is a single-track mountain road with tight hairpin bends leading to the village of Applecross on the west coast of Scotland. It rises up to 2, 053 feet (626 metres) from Applecross at sea level with gradients approaching 20%. This gives it the greatest ascent of any road in the UK.
