Heavy rain has brought flooding to many parts of the UK with North Yorkshire being particularly badly hit. This picture shows a road closed and coned off due to flood waters from Cod Beck which has burst its banks as it flows through the market town of Thirsk, North Yorkshire on 27th November 2012.
