Rani Pokhari is an historic pond built by King Pratap Malla in 1667 which is located in the heart of the city. Around nine months after the April 25 earthquake that hit Nepal, killing nearly 9,000 people and injuring hundreds others, National Reconstruction Authority sets to start post-quake reconstruction work.
