St Brynach's Church Cwm yr Eglwys The belfry and part of the west wall alone remain of this 12th century Celtic type church destroyed in the great storm of Oct 1859 which also wrecked the Royal Charter and 113 other ships along the coast in Wales. Another storm in March 1979 brought further severe damage to the churchyard. The extensive task of restoration was undertaken by Preseli District
