Left to Right: William Thomson chair of the International Selection Panel of the Andrew Carnegie Medal of Philanthropy with the award winners: Agnes Gund, Eleanor Hewlett Gimon, The Aga Khan, Sir Tom Farmer, Anna Southhall, Susan Packard Orr and Presiding Officer the Rt Hon George Reid after the ceremony at the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh. Kwik-Fit founder Sir Tom Farmer also received the accolade, regarded as the philanthropy world's equivalent of the Nobel Prize. Also honoured in the awards was Agnes Gund, chair of the New York Museum of Modern Art, the Cadbury chocolate family and the Hewlett and Packard families.
