The Arqiva Tower, formerly known as The Emley Moor Mast is the tallest free standing structure in The UK at 330.4 metres or 1, 084 feet. It has grade two listed status and was peviously owned by The Independent Broadcasting Authority. The broadcasting station transmits BBC and ITV channels as well as some digital channels to the Yorkshire region and has been confirmed by OFCOM as a B group transmitter after the digital switchover.
