View of the mouth of the Belize River and famous swing bridge from the cruise ship terminal in Belize City, Belize, on an approach from the water. The current ship terminal is too small and the water too shallow for large ships to dock, so they anchor offshore and passengers are ferried to the terminal on small boats or tenders launched from the ships or shore. The terminal includes immigration, shops and access to tours throughout the rest of the country.
