Mt Sylte, Sylte, Valldal, Sunnmøre, NorwayMore information:
Not claimed by Snorri in his saga of King Olav Haraldson , but by tradition, that the later St Olav fleeing from the yeoman army, encountered a huge sea serpent ( may be the Midgardsorm) off Sylte , and surely by the help of God threw it with his ore high up in the steep and naked face of Mt Sylte where it is still clearly visible.
