With A Dynamic Headteacher At The Helm, The School Enjoyed Exploring How To Teach In More Appropriate Ways For Learning In The 21St Century. The Creation Of Two Shared 'Heart' Spaces Allows A Teaching Scenario Where Pupils Are Briefed In The Classrooms An Then Break Into Smaller Groups Using The Class And The Heart As Their Teaching Environment. The Heart Includes Ict Space, Presentation Facilities, A Science Space, Wet Area, Resource Are And Small Group Spaces. A New Frontage Provides A Welcoming Yet Secure Entrance And Gathering Space For Parents. Towers Junior School Won A Bcse Award In 2011 For Excellence In Design For Teaching And Learning: Refurbishments (Small Scale Projects).
