Volkmar von Arnim, aide-de-camp in the Kaiser's entourage, a model 1874 naval officer's sabre Pipe-backed blade with yelmen, naval/floral decorative etching, "Eisenhauer". Blade rust stained. Tombac hilt with lion head. Uncrowned(!) anchor, as with the Prussian pattern. The lion head is in the special form for 1874. Bone grip with wire winding. The signature "v.
