The result is shown in Table X. The values of A are minimal and are less reliable at the greater depths. The values obtained are not unreasonable. Seiwell considered A to equal 2 C.G.S. units in the thermocline of the tropical Atlantic, whereas values increasing to 50 C.G.S. units have been obtained in various waters (Seiwell, 1935)..
