The former headquarters of the Bradford and Bingley Bank plc, in Main Street, Bingley. The building features a tiered concrete design which mirrors the nearby Five Rise Locks on the Leeds Liverpool Canal. The building was opened in 1975, and featured in Prince Charles' famous 'Carbuncle' list of ugly modern architecture. Following the financial crash of 2008, and the nationalisation of partial sale of Bradford and Bingley to Santander, the building was vacated at the end of 2009.
