The house was putup by Mr. Ware, of Exeter; and the heating apparatus, whichanswers admirably, was fixed by Mr. Kerstahl, of the sametown. The boiler and apparatus have been newly registered, and are capable of furnishing either bottom or top heat, with asmall consumption of fuel. In this respect it has a decidedadvantage over any heating apparatus I have ever seen con-structed or had the working of.. The house is about 77 feet in length, by 16 feet 8 inches in width, outside measure. It is divided both at bottom and top into sevendivisions, by means of 4-inch brickwork, sufficiently higfh to allowpines to be cultivated in pots, or to give depth enough of earth, if at any time it should be contemplated to turn the plants outinto the bed.
