A Corbett is a Scottish Mountain between 2500ft (762m) and 3000ft (914m) with a drop of at least 500ft (152.4m) of which they are 220 and take their name from John Rooke Corbett who first classified them. A Munro is a Scottish Mountain above 3000ft (914.5m) of which they are 284 and take their name from Sir Hugh Munro who classified & published The Munro Tables in 1871.
