A walking jack-up barge, Wavewalker 1 is being used to carry out geotechnical surveys in Thorntonloch bay, near Dunbar; part of the £2 billion Neart Na Gaoithe (NnG) Offshore Wind Farm project. The EDF Renewables wind farm’s 53 turbines will be erected in the Firth of Forth, 30km north of Torness. Works starts in June and and completed in 2023
