Three VCs. New Zealand Coronation contingent arrives in England. With three VCs included in their number, New Zealand's contingent for the Coronation arrived at Tilbury aboard the 'Rangitiki. The continued numbers 50 men, comprising officers and other ranks of the army and air force, and is under the command of Maj N W McD Weir, of the New Zealand Staff Corps. Photo shows, the three VCs on arrival at Tilbury. Left to right, Captain R W Andrews, also a member of the Staff Corps and Second-In-Command Sgt James Crichton and Capt S Freikleton. 19 April 1937
