Following a service at Westminster Abbey on the occasion of the reopening of the Law Courts, the Judges, attended by members of the bar, walked in procession to the Palace of Westminster, where they were received by Lord Maugham, the Lord Chancellor, in his private apartment. There was then entertained to Breakfast with other distinguished guests. The Breakfast was received this year after a lapse of seven years on economic grounds.
