Computed tomography (CT) scan of the brain of a 38 year old male patient with severe traumatic brain injury after being involved in a road traffic accident. There are visible contusions and parenchymal hematomas, along with subarachnoid haemorrhage, diffuse brain swelling and pneumocephalus.
