Every member of the family is examined where thereis or has been a case of tuberculosis. The Board of Health hasbeen urged to do more thorough fumigating and to more carefullyinspect the sanitary condition of houses, and also to furnish tem-porary aid for indigent cases. The program for further activityis to have a day-camp and free clinic for adults and children. The. STONE KREUSI. 151 society aids indigent persons to pay their board in a sanatoriumwhere that treatment is desired, and furnishes milk, eggs, awnings, chairs, etc., to needy patients not accepted at Rutland who areobliged to take out-door treatment at home. The society co-operates with the Associated Charities and the Board of Health, gives medicine, obtains proper clothing, furnishes oil, sputumflasks (through the Board of Health), paper napkins and bags.One patient has been boarded in the country.
