This is a shot of two sets of Canada Geese (Branta canadensis) parents and and a whole bunch of goslings as they walk through the grass at Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge west of Brigham City, Utah, USA. This spectacular refuge, administered by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, is an important stop-over for thousands of migrating birds every year and an excellent place for watching birds such as these.
