Udine, Friuli Venezia Giulia region, Italy. The ossuary temple of the Fallen of Italy. The building was built in 1931 to a design by the architects Alessandro Limongelli and Provino Valle. The church dominates the XXVI July square, in memory of the date of entry of the Italian troops in Udine in 1866, at the end of the third war of independence. Behind the façade stand four imposing statues, depicting an infantryman, an aviator, an Alpine and a navy soldier.
