U.S. Marines with Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF), assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, conduct a controlled fuel burn drill at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, July 31, 2019. The training exercise replicated the kind of fires they may encounter in the line of duty and helped familiarize the Marines with the vehicles, gear, and rescue equipment needed to safely and efficiently extinguish fuel fires. The ARFF Marines used hand-line attacks as well as P-19 fire trucks to contain the flames. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Michael Neuenhoff).
