Grass frog (lat. Rana temporaria) - amphibian kind of true frogs (Rana) family of true frogs (Ranidae). This animal is medium in size, it has the typical for frogs look, lifestyle and behavior. Distributed throughout almost all of Europe, except for the extreme South of the continent. The species is listed in Appendix III of CITES (category «species under protection») and the Red data Book of the IUCN.
