Holy Peak Send Mares is the only mountain in Spain where the three rivers are born different than going to three different seas: the Nansa which empties into the Bay of Biscay, a tributary of the Pisuerga, that joining the Douro meets the Atlantic and Hfjar river, which joins the Ebro in Reinosa and opening by both the Mediterranean. El pico Santa Manda Mares es la única montaña de España en la que nacen tres ríos distintos que van a tres mares distintos: el Nansa que desemboca en el mar Cantábrico, un afluente del río Pisuerga, que uniéndose al Duero desemboca en el Atlántico y el río Híjar, que se une al Ebro en Reinosa y que desemboca por tanto en el Mediterráneo.
