Water pours over the dam and icy rocks in the mouth of Vantaa River at the Vanhankaupunginkoski rapids (Vanhankaupunginkosken putous) extremely cold winter morning in March 2021. Vantaa River flows into the Baltic Sea/Gulf of Finland just less than hundred meters downstream. Dam is part of minuscule museum hydro electric power plant and there is a debate in Helsinki whether it should be dismantled so that fish could access rest of the river without barriers.
